How we think about your data

Auditere is built around local-first save behavior. Your workspace data is designed to stay under your control on your machine — not uploaded to a shared cloud simply because you opened the product.

We do not position Auditere as a data brokerage, file-sharing service, or marketplace for your business data. The product exists to help you detect, review, and repair operational datasets — not to harvest them.

  • Workspaces save locally by default — your files remain on your system unless you explicitly use a feature that involves external transfer.
  • We do not casually share user files or workspace contents as a product behavior.
  • AI-assisted workflows may send data to a provider only when you use hosted AI or connect BYOK — you should understand which path is active on your plan.
  • During beta, specific retention, logging, and sync behaviors may evolve as features harden — we will communicate material changes clearly.

This is a product-level summary, not a formal legal privacy policy. A full privacy policy will be published before general availability. If you need specifics for your organization, contact us before committing sensitive workflows.

Responsible use

Terms of use — what you should expect

Auditere is a structured workflow tool for operational data integrity. It supports detection, review, repair, and verification — with explicit operator approval at critical steps. It is not an autonomous decision-maker.

  • You remain responsible for reviewing flagged issues, approving fixes, and validating outputs before they reach downstream systems.
  • Auditere does not replace business judgment, professional advice, or regulatory compliance obligations.
  • It is not a licensed accounting, legal, or financial advisory system — validate critical business data before irreversible external actions.
  • Do not misuse the product for unlawful purposes, unauthorized access to data, or attempts to circumvent provider terms of service.
  • Beta software may contain defects. Use appropriate caution with production-critical datasets and maintain your own backups.

The intended use is operational: operators and data owners who need structured auditing workflows — not blind automation or unsupervised bulk changes.

Operator responsibility is a feature, not a disclaimer dodge. The product is designed so you stay in control. That means you also stay accountable for what you approve.

Beta phase

What beta means here

Auditere is in active hardening — not a finished enterprise release, and not a dead brochure product. Serious software, still evolving.

Active build phase. Detection rules, review flows, and fix reliability are improving continuously. You will encounter rough edges.

Features evolve. Workflows, UI, and capabilities may change as we tighten the core loop based on real operator feedback.

Pricing may refine. Plan details and metering finalize with billing launch. Current beta pricing is documented on the pricing page.

Feedback is part of the build. Bug reports, false positives, missed issues, and confusing workflows directly shape what gets tightened next.

Beta users are contributors, not guinea pigs. You are helping harden a system serious operators will depend on — with clear expectations on both sides.

AI access

AI and BYOK — clear expectations

AI in Auditere serves product workflows — patch assistance, review guidance, structured analysis — not open-ended general chat. Outputs still require operator review.

Trial & Founding Lifetime

AI-assisted features require BYOK — your own provider credentials. No hosted AI allowance is included on these plans.

Pro beta

Includes a monthly hosted AI allowance. BYOK is optional — included usage runs first; your key is fallback after allowance is exhausted.

What BYOK means

Bring Your Own Key. You connect provider credentials you control. You choose what models run and what data reaches them.

Review before action

AI suggestions feed into structured review and approval flows. Nothing commits silently. Treat outputs as proposals, not decisions.

AI is a workflow assistant inside an audit system — not a magic oracle. Do not use Auditere AI for general-purpose chatting, unsupervised bulk edits, or decisions you have not reviewed. See pricing → BYOK for plan details.

Control posture

How the product keeps you in control

We do not claim enterprise certifications we do not hold. These are honest product-level trust signals — how the workflow is designed.

Local-first save

Workspace data stays on your machine by default. You control where your files live.

Explicit approval

Fixes move through structured review. Critical changes require operator sign-off.

Reversible operations

Changes are designed to be previewed, batched, and verifiable — not silent bulk edits.
